Getting through the airport most times can be a struggle. In this article, you’ll be equipped with the best airport tips and tricks for an easier trip.

At Raymart Aviation, we employ our experience in air travel to meet the travel needs of various categories of clients while eliminating the inconveniences which arise due to the absence of pertinent information – commercial travel through the busiest terminals or corporate flights via executive hangers, we got you covered most efficiently.

More often than not, we see some people at the airport in embarrassing situations while trying to put some items in an order. Getting through the airport most times can be a struggle.

You can make your airport experience and journey more comfortable and less stressful by using these airport tips and tricks below.

FLIGHT ESSENTIALS SHOULD BE IN A SEPARATE BAG

There are some items that are highly needed while on an airplane and it’ll be highly frustrating to have to search for any of those items when the need arises. Items like earplugs, nose masks, hand sanitizers, a book, a bottle of water, a snack, etc.

This bag has to be very small in order to fit under your seat. Just be sure that none of these in-flight items will create an issue with security.

GO FOR PLASTIC BUCKLES

It feels annoying and also embarrassing having to be asked to strip off some items of clothing before passing through security. So if you must wear a belt, go for the ones with plastic buckles and totally avoid metal buckles.

The same goes for shoes and bags.

BRING YOUR OWN SNACKS AND WATER

You won’t believe the amount of money you’d save in a year if you bought your water and snacks anywhere other than the airport.

Or you can get an empty water bottle and once you’re past security checkpoints you can fill it up at any drinking fountain.

LEAVE AN EASY TO SPOT MARK ON YOUR LUGGAGE

Amidst a sea of rolling luggage on the strip, you will find it very difficult to find yours. To make it easier, if you can afford to go for customized suitcases, then do it. If you can’t, you may have to tie your handles with a bright-colored scarf

FLY RED-EYE

Airports are always packed with people at hours when the sun is out. So if you’re seeking to avoid the long lines you might want to consider booking a plane that leaves past 9 pm. By taking red-eye flights you aren’t using your vacation days on travel time.

A red-eye flight is a flight that leaves in the evening or at night and arrives at the destination during the day (normally in the morning). Practically, it’s when you take a flight at a time when you would normally be sleeping. Most red-eye flights leave late at night around 9:00 pm and arrive early in the morning around 5 or 6 am.

Red-eye flights are usually a minimum of four hours, but often closer to six hours and always shorter than 7 hours.

An overnight flight means you land in the morning, getting a full day to explore. A second benefit is that it helps save on costs. A third benefit is that the airport and terminals tend to be less busy.

While red-eye flights are not exactly ideal for every type of traveler, it’s still an easy pick if you can sleep anywhere.

The trick here is that you simply get to sleep and wake up at your destination stress-free.

HAVE A PORTABLE PHONE CHARGER

This can also be called a power bank. Having one will ensure your phone is charged at the airport and on the flight. People naturally navigate to charging outlets at airports and that is not where you want to be for the safety of your devices.

NEVER FORGET HAND SANITIZERS

It’s not news that airports and planes are the easiest places to catch germs and what comes after germs. So having to use hand sanitizer and wet wipes during the flight will keep you fresh.
